If he must back up may it be to reposition and continue moving forward
May his stride be his own yet never standing alone
May he walk fully aware:
Obstacles will come
Failure will come
Pain will come
None of which will define nor deter his walk
Every step will not be easy
Every step will not be fair
Every step will not be given
As his Father may he follow me
May he grow to one day lead
May he walk beyond me
May he press on
May he conquer
